Vanessa Lopatka, M.S., CCC-SLP

Assistant Director, Speech-Language Pathologist

Vanessa is the assistant director and has been with our New Heights family since 2017. She has worked at most of our locations, but is currently based out of our Royal Oak office. Vanessa graduated with her masters degree from Loyola University Maryland in 2014 and has been working alongside autistic children and adults since 2010. She is certified in Hanen’s It Takes Two to Talk, AEIOU Pediatric Feeding and in the process of becoming a Natural Language Acquisition trained clinician. Additionally, she is a licensed Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist and certified by the American Speech and Language Hearing Association. Vanessa specializes in early intervention services, play based therapy and AAC evaluation and treatment.

In her spare time, Vanessa instructs fitness classes, provides personal training and enjoys long strolls down the Target aisles with a strong cup of coffee. She lives at home with her two beautiful children, husband and dog, Grizzly.

Rebecca Ingles, M.S., CCC-SLP

Lead Speech-Language Pathologist, Grand Rapids

Becca is a licensed Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist and certified by the American Speech and Language Hearing Association. She has been with the New Heights family since August of 2020 and loves working in the pediatric field. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Grand Valley State University, graduating in 2017. Becca is currently the lead speech-language pathologist at our Grand Rapids office. In addition to treating language, articulation, and apraxia Becca specializes in AAC evaluations and treatment.
Outside of work Becca enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on long walks around Grand Rapids, and vacationing in warm, sunny places (especially Walt Disney World!)
